Replacement of Primary Super Heater for Power Boiler - Visy Pulp and Paper Tumut

SCOPE OF WORK

• Replacement of Power Boiler Primary  Super Heater upper bank including replacement of the Collection Steam Header and installation of new vent line.
• The removal and replacement of 55 Panels in total.
• The removal and reinstallation of boiler tube wall for access.
• The installation and welding of wall membrane 110 segments.
• All welds were 100% NDT
• Existing Superheater outlet header, was to be replaced with a modified designed one.  And an additional vent line to be installed on the Header.
• All works were completed in 10 working days, which resulted in the plant being handed back ahead of schedule.
• Scope of works, including but not limited to, provision of  NDT, materials, welder’s qualifications and procedures, weld locations
