SCOPE OF WORK

Australia Pacific LNG is a coal seam gas (CSG) to liquefied natural gas (LNG) project delivering a cleaner, greener sustainable energy source.

GLNG is a planned liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Queensland, Australia. It is a leading project in the conversion of coal seam gas (coalbed methane) into LNG.

Subcontracted to John Holland, TWE was in Construction of a new product loading facility comprising a 360-metre jetty and loading platform. TWE participated in Completing a pile to headstock weld at the APLNG Facility Jetty Project.

Overhead welding a single bevel “T” butt joint without a backing bar. Pile wall is 25mm and the bottom flange of the headstock is 50mm The joint will be heated to over 100 degrees using induction heating. The consumable is inner shielded wire (NR233).

  • Installation of all reinforcement on two LNG full containment storage tanks which have a capacity of 160,000 cubic metres each.
  • Installation of all reinforcement on four tower crane bases.
  • Installation of all reinforcement on two stair tower foundations.
  • Total reinforcement tonnage 6000T.
